Students learned the Simple Past of the verbs to talk and write about famous people. As a pre-writing for a digital project, I took them to the computer lab and they searched about a dead celebrity, based on questions I wrote on the board. After they got everything on paper, I corrected the grammar mistakes. Then, I taught them how to use Glogster (www.glogster.com). They were supposed to finish the poster at home and bring it next class to present.
